The spokesperson of the CEC, Valmir Elezi, announced that political parties are automatically considered certified according to the Law on General Elections, while the application process only applies to new political entities.

He emphasized that applications must be submitted online to the Office for Registration, Certification and Financial Control at the CEC.

Meanwhile, the next important election deadline is May 12, when all political entities must submit lists of candidates for deputies who will compete in the parliamentary elections.

In the last parliamentary elections, held on December 28, the CEC had certified 1,180 candidates for deputies from 24 different political entities.
