The prime minister of Albania, Edi Rama, participated in the Albania-Israel summit, where over 40 Israeli technology and innovation companies were present.

During his speech, Rama praised the relations between the two countries and described Israel as a special development model, built on knowledge and innovation, more than on natural resources.

“The more I know Israel, the more I understand it. Thank you for coming and you have brought your knowledge in a new way”, he said.

Rama also emphasized that the visits of the Jewish community in Albania are always welcome and thanked all the contributors to the organization of the summit.

According to him, the digitization of the infrastructure represents a great opportunity for countries like Albania, giving them the opportunity to move faster towards technological development and achieve achievements that are often more difficult for larger and more developed countries. /teve1
