The sports activities “Run for Palestine” have continued for the second day in a row in several cities of Denmark, with the participation of hundreds of runners in support of the Palestinian people.

The event was organized in the cities of Aarhus and Esbjerg, in cooperation with the Federation of Palestinian Associations and with the presence of the Palestinian community forum.

After the end of the race, the participants were welcomed in the town halls in an atmosphere filled with messages for freedom, justice and support for the rights of the Palestinians.

The activity started on Thursday in the city of Aalborg with the lighting of the “Flame of Freedom”, which is expected to continue towards Odense, while the activities will close on Sunday in the city hall of Copenhagen, in parallel with another organization in the city of Sønderborg.

“Run for Palestine” is being organized for the third year in a row, while the proceeds from the activity will go to supporting humanitarian projects in Palestine, as well as human rights initiatives through Amnesty International and ActionAid. /message
