As a result of the accident, the parents and the 7-year-old girl managed to escape and get to the shore, while the 5-year-old Tian disappeared in the waters of the river.

Immediately after the incident, an operation was organized extensive search and rescue. The teams searched for several hours in the water, from the air and along the banks of the river, but without being able to locate the child.
“For several hours, searches were carried out in the water, from the air and from the banks of the river. Unfortunately, the boy has not yet been found”, the official statement further states.
Dozens of members of the emergency services were involved in the operation, including the regional police of Wohlen, Muri and Bremgarten, Aargau Cantonal Police, water police units, Zurich Cantonal Police divers, ambulance crews, Mühlau firefighters and air rescue services.
“A large number of rescue and security forces took part in the operation, including the rescue helicopter, police drones, river rescue units and specialist divers,” the police announced.
Meanwhile, the search for the search for Tian continues, while the Rahimi family and the Albanian community in Switzerland are facing difficult hours of waiting and hope.
Swiss authorities have also launched investigations to clarify all the circumstances that led to the serious accident in the Reuss river.
