From today (May 28), the border point with North Macedonia, Gllobočica – Jazhinca, will be crossed with only one control.

At 14:00, the joint border point will be inaugurated, which is the second one after Hani t Elezit – Bllacë, which was inaugurated in April.

As announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, at the ceremony the inaugural ceremony will be attended by the interior ministers of both countries and the first deputy prime minister of North Macedonia, Izet Mejhiti.

“This joint crossing point is one of the two joint border crossing points provided for under the Protocol of Implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on the Joint Border Crossing Points Hani i Elezit – Bllacë and Glloboqicë – Jazhinca, signed in November 2024 at the joint meeting of the two governments”, announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
