Although Albanian housewives cook hasudena in different ways, undoubtedly one of the most delicious is the recipe for baked hasudena.
Once upon a time, hasudja was cooked as a special dessert when friends and guests visited the house or on special occasions of joy. family.
Her recipe requires a little patience and care, but the end result will definitely satisfy your appetite and taste.
200 g of starch
100 grams of butter
150 grams of sugar
A cup of coffee with milk
600 ml of water
Crushed walnuts as desired
First, pour half the amount of water needed to prepare hasude into a pot. Add the sugar and the melted butter.
Put the pot on a slow fire.
In another container, dissolve the starch with the rest of the water.
When the mixture we put on the fire begins to boil, add the dissolved starch little by little, stirring the mixture continuously.
Use a wooden spoon while mixing or a whisk. eggs.
Stir continuously until the mixture easily separates from the sides of the pot.
At the end, if you want, you can add some crushed walnuts to the mixture.
Then, transfer the mixture from the pot to a pan, spreading it evenly over its entire surface.
Next, pour the milk on the hasuda that we have placed in the pan and spread it in it its entire surface.
In some cases, housewives also use an egg yolk mixed with milk and paint the surface of the hasude with it.
Then put the pan in the oven preheated to 200 degrees. Let it bake for around 40 minutes until the surface takes on a reddish golden color.
Hasudja is served cold and is excellently accompanied by various fresh but also dried fruits.
