The Special Prosecutor’s Office is expected to start excavations today in the mountainous area of the village of Kalludër in Zubin Potok, where human remains were found two days ago.

According to the suspicions so far, it is suspected that a mass grave with the bodies of many Albanian civilians killed during the war may be found in the area where the excavations will take place.

The biggest case is the disappearance without a trace of a group of 23 men, known as the Group of Intellectuals, most of them from Mitrovica.

They were stopped on April 19 by Serbian forces in this area while they were leaving for Montenegro, and no trace of them was found.
