The United States Embassy in Jerusalem has notified American citizens located in Israel that it is currently “not in a position” to assist them with evacuation from the country.

In a security notice published online, the embassy announced that Israel’s Ministry of Tourism is organizing buses to the Taba border crossing with Egypt.

The embassy emphasizes that citizens who choose to leave through this opportunity do so at their own risk, as The US government cannot guarantee their safety. According to the announcement, the information is provided only as an aid to those who wish to leave Israel.

Also, American citizens who want to be included on the bus list must register through the evacuation form published by the Ministry of Tourism of Israel. /message
