Liverpool has announced that it has reached an agreement for the transfer of center back Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes.

After passing medical tests, Jacquet has signed a contract with the “Reds” and will join the team at the end of the 2026/27 season.

According to reports, Liverpool has paid 60 million euros for the services of the Frenchman, who has attracted the attention of many big clubs.

“Liverpool have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes, with the centre-back to join them before the 2026/27 season”.

“The Reds have completed the deal for the 20-year-old, who will complete the current season in Ligue while coming to Anfield in the summer on a long-term contract”, the statement said, among other things.
