231 believers from Prizren and Shtimja left today for Mecca and Medina to fulfill the fifth condition of Islam – the Hajj.

Officials from the Directorate of Hajj and Umrah of the Islamic Community of Kosovo participated in the escort ceremony, as well as many family members of the pilgrims, who wished them an easy journey and an accepted Hajj.

This is the third group of believers that this year travels to Islamic holy places. Meanwhile, according to the organizers, four more groups of pilgrims from Kosovo are expected to travel during the next two days.

The process of organizing the travel and stay of the believers is being carried out by the Islamic Community of Kosovo through the Directorate of Hajj and Umrah.
