Kosovo police have provided details regarding an armed robbery that occurred yesterday on “Ndre Bogdani” street, in the segment between the villages of Zym and Bregdri in Prizren.

According to the police, two unknown persons, one of them armed, placed obstacles on the road and stopped a car with two victims, aged 18 and 16.

At gunpoint, the suspects took from the victims the sum of 65 and 70 euros, while they then left in the direction of the mountainous area.

According to the statements of the victims, one of the suspects shot a firearm in the air before leaving.

Police units immediately went to the scene, where a cartridge was found and seized. In consultation with the state prosecutor, the case was initiated as “Robbery”, informed Klankosova.tv, the police spokesperson for the Prizren region, Shaqir Bytyçi.

“Based on operational information, the police have identified two suspects from the village of Krajkë in Prizren. During the search in a house, ammunition and parts of weapons were found and seized, in which case a case was also initiated for “unauthorized possession of weapons”.

“The suspects were interviewed in the presence of the lawyers and guardian for the minor, and by order of the prosecutor they were released in a regular procedure. The case remains under investigation,” it continues. /Klankosova.tv
