Albanian wrestler Islam Dudaev has won the silver medal in the final of the European Wrestling Championships that is taking place at the “Feti Borova” Sports Palace in Tirana.

The naturalized Russian in Albanian was defeated by Russian Bashir Magomedov with the score 10-0 by points.

Magomedov dominated the match, giving the red and black sportsman no opportunity to react.

This achievement as runner-up. of Europe, provides Dudaev with a reward of four million lek (if possible in euros) from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Albania.

After Islam Dudaev, it was the turn of the other red and black wrestler, Zelimkhan Abakarov, to make an excellent appearance at the European Wrestling Championship that is being held in Tirana. He managed to qualify for the finals in his weight category up to 61 kg, after an excellent performance in the previous rounds, announces the Albanian Wrestling Federation.

Abakarov will face the wrestler Zavur Uguev on Sunday, to challenge him for the gold medal.

The European Wrestling Championship, which is taking place in Tirana, also closes on Sunday.
