None of the 27 political entities that intend to compete in the early parliamentary elections on June 7 has yet submitted the list of candidates for deputies to the Central Election Commission.
The news was announced by the CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi, who said that until Monday at 14:00, no online application from political entities for certification in the elections has been received. parliamentary.
According to Elez, the deadline for declaring participation in the elections and for registering coalitions has already ended. He announced that there are a total of 27 political entities that intend to be part of the election race.
This list includes 22 political parties, three coalitions, a citizen initiative and an independent candidate.
After the certification process of candidates and political entities, the CEC is expected to organize the lottery for their ranking on the ballot for the June 7 elections.
“So far (Monday, May 11, 2026, 14:00) none of the 27 political entities submitted online the list of candidates for deputies to be certified for participation in the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which will be held on June 7, 2026,” he said.
The deadline for submitting the list of candidates for deputies ends on May 12.
