Zelensky: If the Russian war machine survives, future attacks may be against Europe

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that, if the “Russian war machine” survives, its future attacks may be directed against Europe and other regions.

“If the Russian war machine continues, its future attacks may be directed against Europe and against other neighbors of Russia, in more distant regions: Russian evil has already shown itself in Syria and African countries,” he emphasized in a video address in evening, reports Ukrinform.

Zelensky stated that Ukraine is working intensively on strengthening sanctions, noting that Russia’s ties with international suppliers that enable military production are a direct threat to security.

“Russia’s relations with the world, which work for war, represent a direct threat to lives, not only in Ukraine,” Zelensky warned, adding that sanctions and other forms of pressure are the most effective instruments for limiting Russia’s military capabilities.

He emphasized that in the last attack on Kiev, Russia used missiles produced this year, stating that without components from Europe, Japan and the United States of America, their production would have been impossible.

“Without components from companies from Europe, Japan and the United States, the Russians simply would not be able to build these missiles,” Zelensky stated.

According to him, it is essential to all supply channels of Russia with components for the production of missiles and drones are cut off.
