Within the last two days, the Kosovo Police in Prizren seized two firearms in separate cases.
According to the police, the first case happened on May 25 at 11:20 p.m., in the village of Lubizhde e Hasit. After a report of gunshots, the police patrol identified the suspect, who admitted that he had shot during a family quarrel.
He voluntarily surrendered a “ZORAKI M” gas gun, a magazine, 28 cartridges and 8 cartridges.
The material evidence was seized by the forensics unit, while by order of the prosecutor the suspect was detained for 48 hours.
While the second case is reported to have happened on May 27, at 11:15 p.m., on “Remzi Ademaj” street.
During a routine check in a bar, a holstered pistol, a magazine and 14 rounds were found on the suspect.
The suspect was escorted to the police station, where after being interviewed in the presence of the defense attorney and by order of the prosecutor guardian, was detained for 48 hours.
Also, weapons and ammunition were seized as material evidence.
