Just a few days before the start of the tournament, the world football organization has decided to ban the introduction of reusable water bottles into stadiums, despite the fact that previously they were allowed if they were empty and transparent.

The decision was made for safety reasons, with FIFA, which argues that bottles can be used as dangerous objects in the stands, is conveyed by “Gazeta Express”.

The change has caused many reactions among fans, especially due to the high temperatures expected in some of the host cities.

However, FIFA has ensured that water supply points, refreshment areas, hydration stations and heat protection tents will be placed near the stadiums.

According to the new regulation, cans, cups or other containers that could pose a risk to the safety of players and spectators will not be allowed either.

FIFA states that this measure is in line with the security policies that are already in place in some of the stadiums where the World Cup matches will take place.
