A case of stabbing occurred on Thursday evening in Gjilan, where two minors were involved.

The regional spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Gjilan region, Ismet Hashani, informed Klankosova.tv that at around 20:53 the police received information about an incident on “Avdulla Tahiri” street.

“Tonight, on June 4, 2026, around at 8:53 p.m. we received information that a case of stabbing between two people took place on Avdulla Tahiri street in Gjilan, where the victim is a male born in 2008, while the suspect is a male born in 2009,” stated Hashani.

According to him, police units immediately went to the scene, where they arrested the suspect, while the victim was sent for medical treatment to the Hospital Emergency Regional of Gjilan.

“Based on the doctor’s report, the condition of the victim is stable”, said Hashani further.

Regarding the case, the state prosecutor and all relevant units have been notified, while the Kosovo Police, in coordination with the State Prosecutor’s Office, is continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
