Two suspected unexploded vehicles were found on Thursday in two different locations in the municipality of Gjakova.
According to the 24-hour report of the Kosovo Police, the first case was registered around 17:20 in the village of Koshare, where the police encountered a suspected unexploded vehicle while patrolling a forest area. The demolition unit of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) came to the scene, which carried out the controlled explosion of the vehicle.
The second case was reported at around 6:35 p.m., a citizen reported that while walking in a field on “Bujar Koka” street in Gjakova, he came across another suspected unexploded vehicle.
Also in this case, the demolition unit of the FSK has came to the scene eliminating the danger.
“Koshare Village, Gjakovë/ 25.06.2026 – 17:20. Police during patrolling in the forest came across a suspected unexploded vehicle. The KSF’s demolition unit went to the scene and carried out the explosion in a controlled manner.”
“Bujar Koka St., Gjakovë / 25.06.2026 – 18:35. A Kosovar man reported that while he was walking in the field he came across a suspected unexploded vehicle. The FSK detonation unit went to the scene and carried out the explosion in a controlled manner.
