Customs collects over 1 billion euros in revenue in the first six months of the year

Kosovo Customs has set a record in collected revenues, collecting over 1 billion euros during the first half of 2026.

According to the official announcement, 1 billion and 7 million euros have been collected so far, which represents an increase of 5.5 percent compared to the same period last year, when 955 million euros were collected.

This result, according to Customs, was achieved thanks to the performance economic stability, cooperation with the private sector, the fulfillment of legal obligations by the business community, as well as increased efficiency in the fight against the informal economy.

An important development this year is also the application of the declaration before the arrival of goods, after the full nationalization of customs terminals and the removal of payments for them.

Customs has announced that the first results of this system are positive and have been welcomed by the community. traders.

“Kosovo Customs remains committed to continuing efforts to further advance its operational capacities”, the announcement states.
