Traces of a destroyed planet are found in a meteorite on Earth.

According to the analysis so far, it is thought that this meteorite that fell and was discovered in the Sahara, may have been a fragment of a planet that was once part of our solar system, in the early stages of formation about 4.5 billion years ago.

It is titled Northwest Africa 12774, and it is thought that the planet it was part of had size similar to the moon and that its end came as a result of a fatal collision, which scattered its parts on rocky planets like Earth.

The study was carried out by the University of Colorado Boulder, and was published in the scientific journal Earth and Planetary Science Letters.

Its composition is thought to include volcanic rocks among the oldest in our planetary system, characterized by an enigmatic chemical composition.

high amounts of aluminum have been found in the meteorite, which is considered a sign of creation under extraordinary pressure conditions, at great depths.

Such conditions can never be created in an asteroid, which means that the celestial body had large dimensions, that is, of a planet, which seems to have been completely destroyed after an impact in the early times of the Universe.
