At the Vermica border point, customs officials have prevented a case of an attempt to introduce undeclared goods into the territory of Kosovo, by stopping a vehicle entering the country for inspection.

According to the announcement, the customs officials asked the driver of the vehicle if he possessed goods for declaration, while he answered in the negative.

However, Customs says that based on the risk analysis, the vehicle is selected for control in the second line.

“During the detailed control, customs officials discovered a total of 610 different cosmetic and personal care products, including skin and hair care products, face masks, as well as perfumes of well-known brands. In this case, a customs offense was found for non-declaration of goods, while procedural actions were taken in accordance with the customs legislation in force”, said the Customs notice.

The Kosovo Customs institution reminds all travelers and economic operators that any goods that exceed the permitted limits must be declared to the customs authorities, in order to avoid legal violations and the consequences arising from them. /Klankosova.tv
