A 66-year-old woman was injured by a firearm on Friday night in the village of Greme in Ferizaj.

According to the police, the case allegedly happened around 5:00 p.m., on Shabi Hashani Street, while the woman was walking walked.

She suffered minor leg injuries and later received medical treatment at the Ferizaj Hospital.

The police say that they were notified of the case around 8:50 p.m., after information received from the hospital.

After initial investigations, the police identified the suspect, A.H., 23 years old, and during the control of his house, a shotgun with one cartridge was seized. He was accompanied to the police station in Ferizaj, where, in the presence of the defense lawyer and in consultation with the prosecutor, he was interviewed on suspicion of the criminal offenses of “unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons” and Using a weapon or a dangerous tool.
