Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is “in good health and continues to fully manage the country,” as clashes between Tehran and Washington continue across the region, reports Anadolu.

Araghchi said Tehran is willing to sit down with countries in the region to form a joint commission of inquiry to determine the nature of the targets that were attacked and whether they were linked to the US.
He stressed that the attacks carried out from Iran were targeting “American bases and interests in the region”, as part of Tehran’s response to attacks launched against Iran from those bases.
The minister said that Tehran had received information indicating that the US and Israel were carrying out attacks from certain locations towards Arab countries.
“So far we have not targeted any civilian or residential areas in the countries of the region”, he added.
Araghchi threatened retaliatory attacks on US companies in the region if Iranian oil facilities are hit.
“If our energy facilities are targeted, we will also target the facilities of American companies in the region,” he said.
