Peja: Police actions are intensified, 38 arrests

Police stations within the Regional Police Directorate in Peja have carried out a series of orders issued by the competent courts, arresting 38 wanted persons during the period 1-22 June.

According to the Police, the arrested persons are suspected of involvement in various criminal offenses and legal actions have been taken against them.

Of the total number of those arrested, 13 persons have been sent to serve their sentences detention centers, while 25 others appeared in court hearings. After completing the procedures and paying the imposed penalties, they were released.

The Regional Police Directorate in Peja has announced that it will continue to implement the orders issued by the competent courts, with the aim of strengthening the rule of law and guaranteeing public safety.
