The Kosovo police have provided details regarding the death of a 62-year-old man in the Arbana district of Prizren, an event that happened yesterday around 18:00, reports “Gazeta e Prizren”.

According to the initial data of the IQP (Central Labor Inspectorate), the victim was not employed in the works being carried out in the facility. The accident happened in a private house, where work was being carried out to renovate the roof.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Regional Police of Prizren, Shaqir Bytyqi, announced that, according to initial information and witness statements, the victim allegedly fell from the roof of his house while he was carrying out work. investigators, have secured the scene, collected material evidence and interviewed the witnesses. The State Prosecutor has also been notified of the case,” he confirmed for the GeP portal.

By order of the prosecutor, the dead body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

As part of the investigation, a person suspected of being the foreman has been detained for 48 hours.
