The signatures for the party’s extraordinary assembly have been submitted to the LDK Secretariat.

This has been confirmed by the deputy of this party, Armend Zemaj.

Several branches and sub-branches have requested the dismissal of the chairman of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku after the results of the June 7 elections.

Ilir Ferati, a member of the party leadership, said on Tuesday that the moment they the signatures will be examined with the greatest seriousness.

The chairman of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, had called the collection of signatures for his dismissal a unilateral initiative, but he had said that they would be examined with the greatest seriousness if they were deposited.

Abdixhiku had survived the vote of confidence on January 31, after the elections of December 28.
