The Israeli military, after resuming intense attacks in southern Lebanon, called for the complete evacuation of the area up to the Litani River and issued a threat of attack, Anadolu reports.

Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee shared a map on the social media platform of the US-based company X, showing southern Lebanon marked in red.

Calling for the complete evacuation of In the region, which had a population of approximately 2 million before the war and has suffered heavy damage due to intense Israeli attacks in the past two years, Adraee declared: “Anyone who is near Hezbollah members, facilities or weapons is putting their lives at risk”.

Adraee threatened that “any house used by Hezbollah for military purposes could be targeted”, and instructed Lebanese citizens to leave their homes them, to completely evacuate the area south of the Litani River and move north of the river.

After the joint US-Israel strike on February 28 that killed Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, Lebanese Hezbollah retaliated by launching rocket attacks against Israel.

In response, Israel launched widespread airstrikes across Lebanon, mainly targeting the capital Beirut.

Recently, citing tensions in growth with Hezbollah, Israel announced its decision to expand its ground occupation in southern Lebanon.
