The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina has announced that within the framework of intensive investigations for the criminal offense “Computer Fraud”, it has been possible to seize property worth about 100 thousand euros, which is suspected to have been obtained through criminal activities.
According to the official announcement, the actions were taken in coordination with the Directorate for the Investigation of Cyber Crimes and in close cooperation with the German authorities, leading to the discovery of the suspected property, reports Klankosova.tv.
“As a result of the investigations carried out by the State Prosecutor, the seized property, worth about 100,000 (one hundred thousand) euros, is suspected to originate from the illegal activity of the suspects. Also, by order of the State Prosecutor, a restraining order has been issued for this property, for which the commercial banks in Kosovo have also been notified. The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina, in cooperation with the Police of Kosovo, remains committed to the fight against criminality, in particular cybercrime,” says the announcement of the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina.
Meanwhile, the Prosecutor of the case will undertake all the necessary investigative actions in cooperation with local and international institutions.
