Four Chinese nationals have been handcuffed by the Police of Albania for the criminal offenses of “Prostitution” and “Adaptation of premises for prostitution” in the area of Durres.

According to the official announcement, the investigations showed that the women carried out the activity in two rented premises in the area of Shkëmbit Kavaja and Golem, adapted for prostitution.

As part of the police operation coded “Storm 17”, developed for four weeks with special investigative methods, were arrested red-handed: X. Ch., 48 years old, J. L., 36 years old, Y. L., 48 years old and L. Sh., 53 years old, all Chinese citizens.

Furthermore, four citizens from Durrës, Kavaja, Shijak and Kosovo.

As material evidence, the Police seized four passports and a sum of money.

Procedural materials have been submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës.
