President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said today that Turkey is making the “necessary calls and initiatives” to reduce tensions, extend the ceasefire and continue talks on the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, Anadolu reports.

Noting the arrest warrant that is issued to Netanyahu by the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity, the statement warned of Netanyahu’s efforts to undermine ongoing peace talks and continue his expansionist policies in the region.

The statement further reiterated Turkey’s determination in its efforts to hold Netanyahu accountable for his crimes, along with the support of innocent civilians.
