The Kosovo police have announced that they have arrested three people in Ferizaj, as they are suspected of robbery.

Their handcuffing took place at noon today in the village of Slivovo in this municipality.

According to the police, the first suspect was initially arrested, after reporting the robbery in a bar in this village.

“Dated 19.04.2026, around 12:00, the police station in Ferizaj received a call from a citizen who reported that a robbery had taken place in his market, in the village of Slivove in Ferizaj. According to the complainant, a male person, about 30 years old, wearing black clothes, with glasses and a scarf over his face up to his nose, had entered the bar and, under the threat of a long gun, had taken the money from the cash register, and then left on foot. in the direction of the village cemetery.”, it says in the announcement.

There it is said that the response and investigation units went to the scene immediately and after about half an hour they managed to arrest the suspect, confiscating an automatic weapon.

“The investigators and the regional crime technicians also came to the scene. Around 12:50 a long AK-47 type automatic weapon was confiscated, which it is suspected that it was used in the commission of the criminal offense,” the announcement states.

Also, two other people have been arrested, suspected of being involved in this case: R.H. 38 years old and V.S. 28 years old.

“The state prosecutor for serious crimes has been notified of all police actions, who has authorized police investigators to continue the investigation and interview the suspects.
