Atlético Madrid are facing serious concerns over the future of Argentine forward Julián Álvarez, amid reports that the player is considering a move away during the summer transfer window.
According to Spanish media, FC Barcelona have put Alvarez at the top of their list of targets for the attacking wing, seeing him as the ideal successor to Robert Lewandowski in the new sports project.
Reports indicate that the management of Barcelona have had contact with the player’s representatives, while Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal F.C. have also shown interest in the Argentine.
Inside the Madrid club, it is believed that Alvarez is looking for an exit from “Metropolitano”, although so far there has been no official request from him. However, Atletico does not plan to facilitate the departure of the Argentine star and requires a significant amount to open negotiations.
Barcelona, on the other hand, is not ready to pay more than 100 million euros for the transfer of the attacker, which makes the deal quite complicated at this stage.
