Kosovo Police has continued increased traffic controls in the municipality of Ferizaj, with a special focus on motorcycle and scooter drivers, within the operational plan “Increased control of the circulation of motorcycles and scooters”.
According to the police, on May 31, 2026, at around 3:15 p.m., two motorcycle drivers were stopped on the “Shaban Viça” street in Ferizaj, who were were driving in violation of road traffic rules.
One of them, R.M., 25 years old, was fined 500 euros for not possessing the corresponding category A for driving a motorcycle. He was given three negative points, as well as the protective measure of revoking his driver’s license for three months.
In addition, R.M. he was fined another 200 euros since the motorcycle he was driving was unregistered and without a license plate.
The police announced that checks will continue in the coming days, with the aim of increasing traffic safety and preventing accidents.
