One person died in an accident between two cars in Ramnishte in Vitia, the police provide details

A traffic accident between two cars happened this morning on the Viti – Ramnishte road.

As a result of the accident, a 70-year-old man suffered serious bodily injuries and was transported for medical treatment.

Despite the efforts of the doctors, he did not manage to survive his injuries and died.

The news was confirmed by the Police spokesperson for the Region of Gjilan, Ismet Hashani, who said that the investigations to clarify the circumstances of the accident are being carried out by the regional traffic accident investigators of the Kosovo Police in Gjilan.

“Regarding the case, the State Prosecutor has been notified, who has ordered that the other driver of the vehicle be detained for 48 hours, while the dead body of the victim be sent for autopsy to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pristina”.
