Physical security workers and technical staff in some public institutions are facing serious problems in labor relations, while the Independent Union of the Private Sector of Kosovo (FSPTSPK) has warned of the possibility of strikes in the coming days. Liberators have filed complaints regarding the violation of their rights from the employment relationship.
According to them, they continue to receive wages in violation of the Minimum Wage Law. They have also raised concerns about non-respect of annual leave, delays in the execution of salaries and non-payment of seniority. Meanwhile, from tomorrow the physical security workers at the University of Pristina will go on strike due to low salaries. According to the union, after continuous efforts and talks to improve working conditions, the workers have decided to take this step.
FSPTSPK has announced that it supports their demands and will stand by them during the strike.
Also, the union has raised concerns for the technical workers of primary and secondary schools in the Municipality of Pristina, who, according to it, have not had a contract for more than a month now. work.
According to the announcement, if their salaries are not paid and work contracts are not offered by June 8, these workers will also go on strike.
