Wednesday, June 10th 2026

The head of the Private Sector Union, Jusuf Azemi, has addressed the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, and the acting Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, regarding the additional 100 euros for private sector workers.

Azemi has asked for clarification on when these funds are expected to be distributed.

“The Trade Union Federation of Technical Workers of the Private Sector of Kosovo, after the approval of the Package for Coping with Inflation 2.0 from the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, is constantly receiving questions and requests for clarification from the workers regarding the time of making the payment of 100 euros foreseen with this package, therefore we ask for official clarifications on when the distribution of this financial support is expected to be made to the beneficiaries of this measure”, the letter says.

The application for these funds was closed on June 5, i.e. two days before elections.

The Government’s decision was considered electoral since it came at the time of the campaign.
