The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Glauk Konjufca, has spoken about the decision that the Special Court will take on September 16 against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Asked what will be the attitude of the institutions of Kosovo in case they will be punished, Konjufca called on the Hague Court not to make any political decision, but to make a decision of justice.
“I call on the Court to The Hague does not make a decision of justice. We all know that the KLA’s war was a just war. It would never have received the support of the international community. There is no way that a criminal war was supported by the United States of America or by the generals of France known NATO members have been close to the figures of the Kosovo Liberation Army”, said Konjufca, KosovaPress reports.
Further, he said that NATO officers cooperated in the training of KLA officers for the war to be successful and they did this because the KLA contributed to stopping the genocide of Milosevic, and according to him, this is the meaning of the war of KLA.
“NATO officers cooperated in the training of KLA officers so that the war would be successful. Why did they do this? Because our army contributed to stopping the genocide of Milosevic. This is the meaning of the KLA war. And all the accused in The Hague contributed to this goal. And this is justice, if it is decided with justice, it is decided like this. And we, as a people, don’t want it, we would even be very revolted, very revolted, if the decision is not just, but a political decision”, said Konjufca.
