Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva is very close to transferring to Real Madrid.

The 31-year-old player, who is expected to leave Manchester City, has reached a preliminary agreement with the Madrid club for a two-year contract, with the possibility of an extension for another season, Italian media reports, “Gazeta Express” reports.

It is reported that Real Madrid leaders value Silva’s experience, technical quality and ability to play in several midfield and attacking positions.

The transfer is seen as an important reinforcement for the team on the eve of the new season.

However, it should be noted that in previous reports from the Spanish media it was said that Real Madrid did not prioritize the transfer of Silva, therefore the news remains at the level of media reports until there is official confirmation from the club or the player.
