The Serbian Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government of Serbia claimed today that her statement “on the ethnic cleansing of Kosovo” was taken out of context and apologized.

Her apology, as Nova.rs reports, is only to President Aleksandar Vučić, the Government of Serbia and Prime Minister Gjuro Macu.

Paunović for the media in Serbia considered it malicious that “only seven seconds from the entire show” were taken out and that, according to her claim, it turned into a political issue.

“This is my story, not a statement. It is uncomfortable to explain that this is not the policy of the president or the government”, she said.

She assessed the decision of the Kosovo authorities to declare that person non grata.

Paunović also called Kosovo’s decision to declare him “non grata” a paradox. said that the permanent ban on entering Kosovo was imposed by, as she called them, “the temporary institutions of Kosovo”. She added that she has not been able to enter Kosovo for four years.
