The Kosovo police announced that a person was arrested in Prizren yesterday.

According to the police announcement, the arrested person is suspected of having committed “war crimes against the civilian population” in cooperation with a police officer of the Serbian MUP, during the period 24.04.1999-26.05.1999.

By the decision of the prosecutor, the suspect after the interview was released in a regular procedure.

Prizren / 24.04.1999-26.05.1999. On 06.06.2026, the male/Kosovar suspect was arrested under the suspicion that he, in cooperation with a police officer of the Serbian MUP, committed the said crime during the said time period. By the prosecutor’s decision, the suspect was released after the interview in a regular procedure. The case is being investigated,” the 24-hour police report says./IndeksOnline/
