“After four years in Augsburg, Elvis Rexhbecaj will move to Wolfsburg as a free agent and will sign a contract until 2030. We can’t wait to see you, Elvis”, the club from the German Bundesliga wrote further.
The return of Rexhbecaj is considered an important move for Wolfsburg, which aims at stability and strengthening the team for the following seasons.
“With Elvis, we are bringing back a player who has a close connection with VfL Wolfsburg and the city. The fact that he has committed himself to our team during this difficult sporting phase makes us even more satisfied. In addition to his footballing qualities, he stands out for a strong personality that is felt both on and off the field. He gives his all in every match and takes responsibility. We are convinced that Elvis will help the team with these quality and we are looking forward to his return in the summer,” emphasized the sports director of the German club, Pirmin Schwegler.
Rexhbeçaj returns to a familiar environment for him, as he had previously been part of Wolfsburg before moving to Augsburg, where he developed several successful seasons and became one of the most important players of the team./04 Online
