The police spokesman for the Prizren region, Shaqir Bytyqi, told Klankosova.tv that from the first information it was understood that, after a conversation between a suspect on one side and three other people on the other side, the suspect there were shots with firearms in the direction of the other party’s vehicle. As a result of the shooting, one person suffered bodily injuries from the firearm.

The injured person was sent for treatment to the Regional Hospital of Prizren and, according to the doctors, his life is out of danger.

According to Bytyqi, all persons involved in the incident have been identified. Apart from the injured person, the others were taken to the Police Station in Prizren.

Investigators from the Regional Department of Investigation, together with the forensics unit, went to the scene of the incident, with the aim of collecting evidence and securing of material evidence.

The police, in coordination with the State Prosecutor, is undertaking all the necessary investigative actions for the complete clarification of the circumstances and motives of this incident.
