Ferizaj police “comfort” three violators of traffic rules

According to the official announcement, one of the most serious cases was registered on the main road in the village of Rakaj, where a 28-year-old driver with the initials N.B. was caught driving a vehicle at a speed of 161 km/h in an area where the limit was only 50 km/h.

The police announced that harsh punitive measures have been imposed on him.

“For this misdemeanor, a fine of 500 euros, 5 negative points and a protective measure – ban on driving for 6 months” is stated in the announcement, broadcasts Klankosova.tv.

In one case another, a 23-year-old driver with the initials D.Ç. has faced the measure of revoking the driver’s license for 12 months, after having accumulated 10 negative points within the period August 2025 – June 2026, as a result of repeated traffic violations.

Meanwhile, on “Enver Topalli” street in Ferizaj, the police have stopped another 23-year-old driver with the initials A.H., who had committed overtaking in a full line and in a crossing for pedestrians, directly endangering their safety.

“A fine of 200 euros, 2 negative points and a protective measure – ban on driving for 3 months” was imposed on him.

This case was reported by citizens through the digital platform “Notify the Police”, a mechanism that is increasingly being used to report traffic violations.

Kosovo Police has emphasized that the checks will continue in the coming days, with the aim of increasing road safety and respecting traffic rules.

The authorities have called on citizens to cooperate by reporting any violation or danger in traffic on the numbers 192, 0290/326-250, 0290/322-406, as well as through the “Notify the Police” application, guaranteeing that all information is treated confidentially complete.
