During his stay in Skopje, on the sidelines of the Western Balkans Leaders’ Meeting on the Growth Plan, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski.

The Prime Minister congratulated his counterpart on the successful organization of this next summit of the Western Balkans leaders and thanked him for the hospitality.

Together discussed the bilateral relations, the level of implementation of the agreements between the two governments from the joint meetings, among which the functionalization of the two common border points was highlighted, and the new opportunities for cooperation.

In the spirit of the summit, they also discussed the integration process towards the European Union for both countries and the region, as well as the importance of the Growth Plan and EU funds in accelerating the reforms of the agenda European.

During his meeting and participation in the Western Balkan Leaders’ Summit, Prime Minister Kurti was accompanied by the Ambassador of Kosovo to North Macedonia, Florian Qehaja.
