The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Ferit Hoxha, has stated that Albania will continue to support Ukraine with unwavering commitment and in every possible way, reports Anadolu.
In a reaction on social networks, Hoxha has confirmed that he has held a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha.
Hoxha has emphasized that with his Ukrainian counterpart, he had a fruitful and essential exchange on the most important developments. latest in Ukraine, the ongoing efforts to end “Russia’s unjust aggressive war”, as well as on the wider panorama of European security.
“Albania has stood firmly by Ukraine since the first day of brutal Russian aggression and will continue to support Ukraine with unwavering commitment, in every possible way. We also exchanged views on our respective journeys towards the European Union and underlined the importance of maintaining the pace for the European membership process of both countries”, said Hoxha.
Albania’s chief diplomat emphasized that the discussion also affected bilateral relations and future activities, according to him, including a ministerial meeting to be held in June in Tirana, “reconfirming our close cooperation and joint commitment to peace, security and regional stability”.
