A serious theft was reported in a construction material warehouse in the village of Buqe te Dragash, where masked persons allegedly entered by force and took around 15 thousand euros from a safe, which was later found demolished near the object.

The news for Klankosova.tv was confirmed by the police spokesman for the Prizren region, Shaqir Bytyqi.

“On May 9 2026, at 07:25, a citizen from the village of Blaq reported to the police that a serious theft was committed in his warehouse of building materials in the village of Buqe – Dragash”, said Bytyqi.

According to him, unknown persons “entered by force through the balcony door on the ground floor and forcibly opened the safe, from which about 15,000 were stolen euro”.

Bytyqi announced that “the demolished and emptied safe was found near the scene”, while police patrols, forensics and investigation units went to the scene of the incident.

“The guard of the building stated that during the night he did not notice anything suspicious”, he added.
He emphasized that there are currently no suspects, while investigations into the case are ongoing.
