The Kosovo Police is asking for the help of citizens to identify an elderly person, about 70 years old, who was found without signs of life on the street “Edit Durham” in Prizren.

On 26.03.2026, at around 11:36, the Police received an information about a case where a person was found without signs of life on the street “Edit Durham” in Prizren, according to the Emergency team, reports Gazeta e Prizren.

Police patrols, together with the investigative team and the crime-technical team, have gone to the scene, which is located at the residences of the former TMK.

According to initial information, the victim is an elderly man, about 70 years old, still unidentified. The emergency team found that the victim died at least 2-3 hours before the arrival of the doctors. No signs of a violent death were observed.

The regional investigation team also came to the scene, which after consultation with the State Prosecutor initiated the case as “Death Investigation”. By order of the Prosecutor, the dead body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pristina for further examinations.

Taking into account that the victim was found on the street and has not been identified so far, the Kosovo Police asks citizens that if they have any information about the identity of the victim, to notify the nearest police station or through the contact number 192.
