Prosecutor Naim Abazi after the verdict for Banjska: We will request the arrest of others through Interpol

After the announcement of the verdict against the three convicts for the terrorist attack in Banjska, the special prosecutor of the case, Naim Abazi, reacted.

He stated that today’s verdict gives a clear signal that all the people involved in this attack will receive the deserved punishment.

According to Abazi, the justice institutions will not stop only with this decision, but through international cooperation and Interpol, the arrest of other members who are on the run.

“Through international assistance and Interpol we will request the arrest of other members as well. All those who ordered, financed and coordinated the attack will answer to the justice authorities”, he declared.

Otherwise, the Basic Court in Pristina sentenced Bllagoje Spasojevic and Vladimir Tolic to life imprisonment, while Dushan Maksimovic was sentenced to 30 years imprisonment for the 2023 terrorist attack in Banjska, where Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed and two police officers were injured.
