Kosovo Customs has discovered a case of incorrect declaration of goods during the customs control at the customs office in Prizren.

In addition to the incorrect tariff classification, it has been established that a license for the import of explosive devices is also required for the goods in question, in accordance with the legislation in force.

According to preliminary estimates, the avoidance of customs and tax obligations as a result of the incorrect declaration amounts to over 2500 euro.

Regarding the case, a customs offense procedure has been initiated according to the provisions of the customs and excise code.

Kosovo Customs declares that it remains committed to combating incorrect declarations, protecting public safety and guaranteeing the fair implementation of customs legislation.
