Seven people were killed and several others were injured today in new Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, according to the National News Agency (NNA), Anadolu reports.
The agency said an Israeli drone carried out an attack in two waves targeting a vehicle near the Husseiniya club in the city of Nabatieh before noon.
The attack killed two people and wounded another while they were in the area to collect food aid, it said. in the news.
The attack also damaged three Nabatieh emergency services ambulances, including one that was rendered completely unusable.
Two attacks in the town of Harouf killed three people and wounded four others.
Another attack in the town of Tebnine in Bint Jbeil district killed two people.
An Israeli attack targeting a health center in the town of Shabriha near Tire injured ten people, including two children and two women.
Meanwhile, an attack in the Maachouk area of Tire injured 16 people, including a child, six women and a Canadian citizen.
Another attack in a residential area in the city of Tire injured seven people, including a child, while another attack targeting an apartment in Tire’s Housh injured four more people.
The attacks come despite the third round of peace talks brokered by the US between Israel and Lebanon at the State Department, which resulted in the extension of the ceasefire for 45 days.
In a separate incident, another Israeli drone attack targeted the western neighborhood near the industrial zone in the city of Kfarreman, wounding one person, according to the agency.
NNA also reported that the final toll of an overnight Israeli “massacre” in the city of Harouf has risen to four. According to the news, Israeli jets struck a house, completely destroying it.
Since March 2, Israeli attacks in Lebanon have killed more than 2,950 people, wounded nearly 9,000 and displaced more than 1.6 million people, about a fifth of the country’s population, according to Lebanese officials.
